Behind its conventional exterior, this luxurious Harrogate Hotel offers an electric mix of styles & colours
There are two sides to every story, and this is certainly true of The Balmoral .Traditional outside, inside it dances to a more modern tune. While it boasts the efficiency to serve Harrogate’s business sector during the week, its charming and sophisticated interior makes it the perfect weekend retreat.
The striking red, black and white scheme was conceived by Gabriel Murray of Studio 48 in response to the hotels quintessentially English architecture. Keeping the existing antique fittings where possible, he used the bespoke upholsterer Stylematters to bring plump sofas, seating and headboards into the 21st Century to stunning affect. With gourmet food served in The Harrogate Grille and the latest technology at ones fingertips, business and leisure guests alike can expect to be totally spoilt.
